Celebration Of Life
Death is a sacred passage that I feel deeply honoured to assist with.
I do a special ceremony to honour loved ones that have passed.
I can do this special ceremony at any time - it doesn't have to only be right when a person passes.
Sometimes it takes time and processing through grief and healing to get to a place of feeling ready to truly let go of a loved one who has passed. I can perform this ceremony at the time of death or years after your loved one has passed.
Sometimes in mainstream culture funerals and ceremonies are taken over by religious traditions
and / or by other family members.
Sometimes due to extenuating circumstances, a person may not be able to attend the funeral
nd so a person may not feel they have closure around the death of a loved one.
It is very important to acknowledge and honour the passing of a loved one.
The special Indigenous ceremony I offer can be a way to have your own ceremony and / or
it can be in addition to the more common mainstream funeral, and it can help to bring you healing and closure.
I can do these ceremonies long distance or in some cases, in person.
I use the Big Drum and make traditional offerings of tobacco, prayers, etc.
I can speak to your loved one in spirit and provide them with whatever you wanted to say
that you may not have had the chance to say while they were alive.
I can customize the ceremony to suit whatever your needs are as it's very important
you have a say in how you want your loved one's life to be honoured.
If you are interested in exploring the possibility of a Celebration of Life ceremony to honour your loved one, help them to transition over to the other side, to bring you peace, closure and healing around your grief, please contact me to discuss it further and I can provide you with a non- obligatory quote (depending on your needs).
